John Salveson is President & CEO of Salveson Leadership Advisors, LLC, a consulting practice that helps leaders, boards and senior executive teams maximize the effectiveness of their organizations. The practice focuses on board governance, succession planning, executive search, strategy and talent management. John was Co-Founder and Principal of Salveson Stetson Group, Inc. (SSG), a multi-specialty, retained executive search firm. SSG was listed as one of Forbes Magazine’s best recruitment firms in America for several years and worked with large and mid-sized companies to find leaders who drive success and guide the organization into the future. He is an active civic leader in the Philadelphia region and currently serves on the Board of Directors of United Way (Immediate Past Chairman) and WHYY (Chairman). He is also a Director of Bellrock Intelligence, an early-stage company focused on the social determinants of health. John also served as a Talent Advisor to Mayor Cherelle Parker to help her assemble her new administration.
John holds both master’s and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Notre Dame.
